Gary receives International Planetary Award 2016 at Tage der Zukunft

Gary accepting award 30Global Diversity Foundation Director Gary Martin travelled to Arnoldstein, Austria, from 15-17 July 2016 to participate in the Days of Future (Tage der Zukunft) 2016 conference.

Tage der Zukunft “brings together creative minds to help shape a better future for our planet together, turning expertise into action”. The theme this year was “Towards a More Diverse Future: Global Challenges – Local Experiences”. Gary delivered a lecture on “Challenging Diversity” profiling the Global Environments Summer Academy and some of its alumni.

He also received the 2016 International Planetary Award from the “Design Me a Planet” initiative which recognises people or institutions who have created outstanding initiatives in the field of innovation and in efforts of co-creation of possible and sustainable futures for humanity.
