Conserving threatened plant species in the Moroccan High Atlas

The Darwin Initiative’s latest newsletter (November 2017) is a collection of Darwin Initiative-funded projects making a positive contribution to climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience building efforts, highlighting the importance of these approaches for the sake of both biodiversity and human communities.

This edition features our Darwin-funded work in the High Atlas, Morocco, in conserving threatened plant species to support community adaptation and resilience to climate change through establishing community seed banks, and building and restoring water management infrastructure (read our article entitled Conserving threatened plant species to support community adaptation and resilience to climate change in the High Atlas, Morocco).
